Art is a retired US Army Sergeant First Class with more than 20 years of service. He retired from the Army in Fort McClellan, AL. He is also an ordained minister. This combination drives his love of people and his desire and compassion towards the less fortunate.
After relocating to Savannah, GA from Alabama, he noticed tremendous homelessness. As he conversed with the homeless, he discovered that many were veterans. These veterans shared their plight of homelessness and despair with him. This touched Art’s heart to distribute food and other resources to them.
These brave men and women have given this country the best days of their lives and are deserving of a dignified and self-sufficient lifestyle. As a result, Art was inspired to establish Springboard Hope. His desire is to assist these veterans with temporary housing, job placement assistance, mentoring, and many other necessities of life.
Donations, support from the VA and other community organizations will enable Springboard to accomplish the vital mission of helping these veterans in need.
After serving our country, thousands of veterans struggle to find stable housing, employment, and community support.
Without resources, many are left navigating life alone.
Springboard Hope for Veterans exists to change that — providing the support system veterans need to rebuild their future.
